Recipe - Rice Vegetable Pilaf

1 1/3 cup Water
1 teaspoon Chickenflavored bouillon
Granules
One half cup Longgrain rice uncooked
1 One half cup Carrot coarsely shredded
One half cup Fresh parsley, chopped
1/3 cup Scallion thinly cut or sliced up
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
One fourth cup Toasted pecans,chopped
Combine water and bouillon granules in a saucepan, bring to a boil. Add
rice, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes. Remove from heat, and let
stand, covered, 5 minutes. Add next 4 ingredients, stir well. Place over ow
heat, cover and cook 5 minutes. Sprinkle with pecans.
