Recipe - Rice-A-Rosie

Ingredients:

2 cn (14 One half ounces each) chicken
broth
2 cup White longgrain rice;
uncooked
2 tablespoon Butter
One half cup Green pepper; seeded,
chopped
One half cup Green scallions; chopped
One half cup Celery; chopped
1 teaspoon Instant minced garlic
1 Jar (6 ounces) cut or sliced up
mushrooms; drained
2 tablespoon Chopped pimiento
One half teaspoon Ground thyme
One half teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Black pepper
1 ds Bottled hot pepper sauce

In 3quart saucepan, bring chicken broth to boil over medium flame. Turn
off heat. Stir in butter and rice. Add remaining ingredients. combining
well. Pour rice mixture into greased 3quart baking dish. Bake covered in
preheated 350° F gas oven for 35 minutes. Makes 810 servings.

A colorful accompaniment to chicken, pork or beef.
