Recipe - Rib-Eye Express B-B-Q Sauce

16 ounce Tomato sauce
One half cup Karo dark corn syrup
1 cup Cider vinegar
1 cup Sugar
One half cup Catsup
2 teaspoon Turmeric
1 ounce Liquid smoke flavoring
2 teaspoon Onion powder
One fourth cup Molasses
2 teaspoon Black pepper; coarse ground
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
One half teaspoon Cayenne pepper
2 teaspoon Salt
3 tablespoon Cornstarch
2/3 cup Corn oil
One half teaspoon Paprika
Coloring; if desired**
Cook all ingredients except sugar, molasses and Karo, for 15 minutes. Stir
until hot and very well blended. Add in sugars and mix thoroughly. Do not
attempt to cook sauce more until well blended. Adjust thickness with
additional cornstarch to desired thickness.
**Either caramel coloring or natural portum may be used to deepen the
color.
