Recipe - Rhubarb Strawberry Crisp

3 cup Fresh rhubarb, in 1" pieces
1 pound Frozen whole strawberries
drained, OR...
1 pt Fresh strawberries*
One fourth cup Granulated sugar
One fourth cup Sifted allpurpose flour
Three fourths cup Quaker Oats, uncooked
(quick or oldfashioned)
Three fourths cup Brown sugar, firmly packed
1/3 cup Butter or margarine; melted
Combine rhubarb, strawberries and sugar. Place in a 9inch square baking
dish. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar and butter, mixing until crumbly.
Sprinkle crumb mixture over rhubarb and strawberries. Bake in preheated
moderate oven (350 F.) about 40 minutes or until rhubarb is tender.
*NOTE: If fresh strawberries are used, increase sugar to One half cup.
