Recipe - Raspberry Cinnamon Applesauce

1 pack (10 oz.) thawed red
raspberries
3 Cinnamon sticks
4 pound Cooking apples;
peeled/coarsely chop
Sugar; (optional)
Place raspberries, cinnamon and apples in heavy pan. Bring mixture to boil.
Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer 1520 minutes until tender, stirring
occasionally. Stir in sugar to taste, if desired. Remove cinnamon sticks.
Serve warm or refrigerate. Makes 6 cups. Great with pork and a great way to
use all those Fall apples.
