Recipe - Quick Penuche

One half cup Butter
1 cup Packed brown sugar
1 Three fourths (up to)
2 cup Confectioner's sugar
One fourth cup Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla
Melt butter & add sugar; boil over low heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Stir in milk & bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Sift confectioner's
sugar & gradually add to butter mixture. Beat until thick enough to put in
pan (for candy) or spread on cake. If too thick, add a small amount of
water.
