Recipe - Quick Creole Sauce

One half cup Green peppers chopped
One fourth cup Chopped onions
One fourth cup Chopped olives
1 Garlic clove minced
2 tablespoon Margarine
10 ounce Tomato sauce * see note
One fourth cup Milk
3 Parsley sprigs chopped
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Bay leaves crumbled
1 pn Thyme
* Original recipe called for one 10ounce can of tomato soup; I prefer
tomato sauce, but use soup if you wish, or try a mixture of the two. The
flavored tomato sauces are excellent.
Saute green pepper, onion, olives and garlic in margarine for 5 minutes (or
mix olive oil for half the margarine). Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
