Recipe - Quick Buckwheat Cakes

Three fourths cup Flour; buckwheat
Three fourths cup Flour; white
3 One half teaspoon Baking powder
1 Three fourths cup Milk; sweet
Three fourths teaspoon Salt
1 Egg
3 tablespoon Shortening; melted

Sift dry ingredients. Mix egg, milk and shortening and add to dry
ingredients. Beat until smooth.
