Recipe - Praline Apple Crisp

1 tablespoon Water
1 teaspoon Almond extract
6 cup Tart eating apples, cut or sliced up
and unpeeled
2 tablespoon Firm margarine
2 tablespoon Allpurpose flour
2 tablespoon Packed brown sugar
One half teaspoon Ground cinnamon
One half cup Zwieback crackers, coarsely
crushed
2 tablespoon Pecans, chopped
Yogurt Topping (recipe
available)
Heat oven to 375. Spray 1 1/2quart casserole with nonstick cooking spray.
Mix water and almond extract; toss with apples in casserole. Cut margarine
into flour, brown sugar and cinnamon with pastry blender in small bowl
until crumbly. Stir in zwieback and pecans. Sprinkle over apples. Bake
uncovered about 30 minutes or until top is golden brown and apples are
tender. Serve warm with the Yogurt Topping.
