Recipe - Pound Cake (Moms) 10

2 Sticks miracle whip
margarine
One half cup Crisco
3 cup Sugar
5 md Eggs
1 cup Milk
3 cup Flour; cake or plain, sift
before measuring
1 teaspoon Vanilla; (mother uses 2)
1 teaspoon Lemon juice

Blend margarine, crisco and sugar; add eggs and mix. Add One half flour and mix,
add One half milk and mix; add remaining flour and mix; add remaining milk and
mix. Add flavoring and mix.

Pour into a tube pan, place in cold oven and bake 1 hour and 30 minutes at
350F.

NOTE: Mother bakes at 350F for an hour adn turns oven up between 350F and
375F for last 30 minutes.
