Recipe - Potato Corn Soup

2 tablespoon Butter or margarine
One fourth cup Chopped onion
4 cup Chicken broth
4 cup Diced pared white potatoes
1 cup Pared cut or sliced up carrots
2 teaspoon Lemon juice
2 teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
One fourth teaspoon Dried leaf thyme
1 cn (16oz) whole kernel corn;
drained
In large saucepan or kettle, melt butter. Add onion and cook 5 minutes. Add
remaining ingredients except corn. Cover and simmer 40 minutes or until
potatoes are tender. Add corn and heat 5 minutes. Serves 4
