Recipe - Potato-Nut Patties

4 cup Unseasoned mashed potatoes
One fourth cup Onion; minced
Three fourths cup Filberts;ground in a blender
One half cup Whole wheat bread crumbs
One half teaspoon Sage
1 teaspoon Savory
3 tablespoon Miso
3 tablespoon Parsley
1/3 cup Whole wheat pastry flour
Oil as needed
Make sure the nuts are ground into small pieces. Place the potatoes,
onion, ground filberts, bread crumbs sage, savory, miso and parsley in a
large bowl. Mix well.
Shape the mixture into hamburgersized patties of about 1/2inch
thickness.
Dredge both sides of each patty in the flour, and brown the paties on both
sides.
These patties are good plain or accompanied by a sauce.
