Recipe - Poached Plums With Cinnamon

1 Punnet of plums
Vanilla ice cream
1 Egg white
Sugar
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
Put the ice cream in 3 serving bowls and place in the freezer. Halve the
plums and remove the stones. Melt some butter in a frying pan, add the
plums, a bit of sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg and fry for a couple of minutes.
Whisk the egg white with caster sugar to make a simple meringue.
Remove the ice cream from the freezer and put the plums on top. Using an
icing bag, pipe the meringue on the plums and place under a hot grill until
golden brown, about 5 minutes, and serve.
