Recipe - Pizza Sauce (Mitchs)

100 ounce Angela Mia crushed tomatoes;
(Hunts)
3 tablespoon Olive oil
1 cup Good Red Wine
1 cup Water
6 ds Tabasco
2 tablespoon Marjoram
3 One half tablespoon Oregano
1 One half tablespoon Fennel
3 One half tablespoon Basil
2 One half teaspoon Fresh ground black pepper
2 One half teaspoon Garlic powder
Salt to taste
AMOUNT
6 pt Makes this many pints OR
enough for
12 md Pizzas
1. Combine all ingredients and slowly add to sauce while whisking.
2. Bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer over low heat for 1 to 3 hours, or
until you like the taste.
3. Makes about 6 pints or enough for roughly 20 servings. Freezes well. The
only way to buy Angela Mia tomatoes is Sam's or a warehouse outlet and it
comes in 100 ounce cans.
NOTES : September 11, 1997 made first batch. First batch turned out very
good If you add spices and it helps the flavor let me know
