Recipe - Pizza Party Pickups

Categories: None, Pizza Party Pickups
Ingredients:

1 pack Chicken Drummettes or Wings
Three fourths cup Pizza sauce
One half teaspoon Dried oregano leaves
One half teaspoon Cayenne pepper; or to taste
1 tablespoon Grated Parmesan cheese

Originally from the back of a Tyson chicken recipe card. It's simple, fast
~ but messy! Be sure you have lots of WetWipes and napkins available.

Rinse chicken with cold water and pat dry with paper towels. If using
chicken wings remove and discard tips and cut remaining wings into two
parts at joint. In a small bowl blend pizza sauce, oregano and cayenne. In
large plastic food storage bag or shallow dish, combine chicken and pizza
sauce mixture. Seal or cover. Marinate 8 hours or overnight, turning
occasionally.

Heat oven to 375F. Grease a 12 x 8inch baking dish. Remove chicken from
marinade; place chicken in baking dish. Discard leftover marinade. Sprinkle
chicken liberally with Parmesan cheese.

Bake at 375F for 45 to 60 minutes, or until chicken is done.

Serve immediately or refrigerate until serving. time. Serve hot or cold.
refrigerate leftovers.

plm Note: I usually douse the marinade liberally with a hot pepper sauce,
such as Tony Chachere's We live dangerously!
