Recipe - Pinto Bean With Ham

1 pound Dried pinto beans
5 One half cup Water
1 lg Onion, chopped
One fourth pound Cooked ham, chopped
1 Garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon Chili powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper
One fourth teaspoon Dried oregano
One fourth teaspoon Ground cumin
Sort and wash beans; place in a 5 quart slow cooker. Stir in 5 One half cups
water and remaining ingredients.
Cook, covered on Low 10 hours, stirring twice. Yield 10 servings. Typed in
