Recipe - Perfect Peanut Party Mix

One fourth cup Butter or margarine
One fourth cup Creamy peanut butter
1 One half teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
One half teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Garlic powder
2 2/3 cup Corn Chex cereal
2 2/3 cup Rice Chex cereal
2 2/3 cup Wheat Chex cereal
2/3 cup Salted cocktail peanuts
8 ounce Candy coated chocolate piece

Preheated 250ø oven. In 15 x 10 x 2 inch baking pan melt butter and peanut
butter in oven. Remove. Stir in Worcestershire, salt and garlic powder:
mix well. Gradually add cereal and nuts, stirring until all pieces are
evenly coated. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Add candy, mixing
well. Spread on absorbent paper to cool. Store in air tight container.
Microwave Directions*: In 3 One half quart bowl or 13 x 9 x 2 inch
microwavesafe dish melt butter and peanut butter on HIGH 1 minute. Stir in
Worcestershire, salt and garlic powder; mix well. Gradually add cereal and
nuts, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Microwave on HIGH 5 to 6
minutes, stirring every 1 One half minutes. Add candy, mixing well. Spread on
absorbent paper to cool. Store in air tight container. *A 650 watt
microwave was used. For other wattage ovens, time may need to be adjusted.
