Recipe - Peppery Pecan Pie

Prepared pie crust for one
9inch pie
3 lg Eggs
1 cup Dark corn syrup
One half cup Dark brown sugar
One fourth cup Butter or margarine; melted
1 tablespoon TABASCO® pepper sauce
1 One half cup Pecans; coarsely chopped
Whipped Cream; optional
Preheat oven to 425ø:F. Place pie crust in 9inch pie plate; make
decorative edge. In large bowl, beat eggs slightly. Add dark corn syrup,
dark brown sugar, melted butter and TABASCO® pepper sauce. Place pecans in
prepared pie crust; pour filling over pecans. Bake pie 15 minutes.
Reduce oven to 350øF. Bake pie 40 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1
inch from edge comes out clean. Cool pie on wire rack. Serve with whipped
cream if desired.
