Recipe - Pepper Cabbage

1 cup Sugar
One half cup Butter or margarine
3 Eggs beaten
1 teaspoon Rum flavor
1 teaspoon Vanilla flavor
1 One half cup Flour
One half teaspoon Black pepper
One half teaspoon Salt
1 cup Dates chopped
1 cup Walnuts chopped

Cream butter and sugar fluffy. Beat in eggs and flavorings. Mix together,
flour, pepper and salt. Blend flour mixture into creamed mixture. Mix in
dates and nuts. Pour into a greased 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake 275 ( correct ) 45
minutes or tested done.Sift with confectioners sugar while warm.
