Recipe - Penne With Vodka And Tomato Cream Sauce

1/8 cup Extra virgin olive oil
2 lg Garlic cloves minced
One fourth teaspoon Crushed red pepper flakes
pn Of salt
15 ounce Can minced tomatoes
8 ounce Penne or similar pasta
One half cup Heavy cream or half and
half
2 tablespoon Vodka
One fourth cup Chopped parsley
Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. In unheated large skillet
combine oil, garlic, peppers and pinch of salt. Stir to coat with oil. Cook
over moderate heat till garlic is golden. Stir in tomatoes and simmer for
15 minutes. Meanwhile boil water and cook pasta al dente. Add drained pasta
to skillet with tomato sauce. Add vodka and toss. Add cream and toss. Cover
and reduce heat to low. Let sit
