Recipe - Penchards Favorite Low-Fat Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

3 tablespoon Flour
3 tablespoon Nonfat or low fat margarine
2 cup Skim milk
1 teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Nutmeg
One half cup Nondairy creamer
Nonfat cheese optional
Egg substitute, liquid
Optional

Cook flour and margarine together, stirring constantly. Add milk and
continue whisking until mixture thickens. Add salt and nutmeg. Just before
serving, add nondairy creamer. This gives it a rich creamy flavor. For
cheese sauce, simply stir in nonfat cheese. For Bechamel sauce, add egg
substitute.
