Recipe - Pecan Muffins

1 cup Sugar
One fourth teaspoon Salt
4 teaspoon Cinnamon
2 cup Flour
2 teaspoon Baking powder
1 cup Milk
1 cup Chopped pecans
2 Eggs; beaten
One half cup Shortening; melted
Sift dry ingredients together. Add pecans. Mix together milk, melted
shortening & eggs. Combine dry & liquid ingredients quickly with little
stirring. Bake in muffin tins in hot oven (425 degrees) about 15 minutes.
Makes 1 dozen.
