Recipe - Pecan Meltaways

1 cup Butter or margarine;
softened
One half cup Confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 One fourth cup All purpose flour
One fourth teaspoon Salt
Three fourths cup Finely chopped pecans
Additional confectioners
sugar

In a mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar, and vanilla; mix well. Combine the
flour and salt; add to creamed mixture. Stir in pecans. Chill. Roll into
1in. balls and place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for
1012 minutes. Roll in confectioners sugar while warm. Cool; roll in sugar
again. Yield: about 4 dozen.
