Recipe - Pecan Candy

3 One half cup Sugar
Three fourths cup Whipping cream
1 cup Corn syrup
1 pn Salt
5 cup Pecans
One half teaspoon Baking soda
1 tablespoon Vanilla

Mix sugar, corn syrup & salt in saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil. Add
pecans & cook until soft ball stage (225 degrees). Remove from heat & add
soda & vanilla. Beat vigorously until candy begins to cool & thickens. Pour
into a greased 13x9inch pan. When cool, cut into 1inch squares.
