Recipe - Pears With Fruited Yogurt Sauce

4 Pears, peeled
1 cup White wine
1 cup Water
1 cup Lowfat yogurt
One fourth cup No sugar added fruit spread
1 teaspoon Almond extract
4 Sprigs mint
Poach pears in wine and water until soft, about 7 minutes. Combine yogurt
with 1 tablespoon fruit spread and One half teaspoon almond extract. In another
bowl, combine remaining spreadand extract. Take yogurt and pour into
circles on dessert plates. Make 2 thin circles with fruit spread and swirl
with knife. Place pear in center and garnish with mint.
Variation: Use apple juice for wine and water.
