Recipe - Pear Cardamom Relish

10 Firm, ripe pears
Peeled, cored, and c
2 tablespoon Poppy seeds
One half teaspoon Ground cardamom
One half teaspoon Ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon Minced fresh ginger root
12 cup White wine vinegar
One fourth cup Sugar
1 cup Pear nectar
One half teaspoon Sea salt
Combine all ingredients in a nonreactivepan. Bring to boil, reduce heat to
low, simmer for about 25 minutes, until thickened. Cool. Serve with grilled
