12 sl White bread
Butter; softened
One half cup Smooth peanut butter
One half cup Crushed pineapple; well
drained
1 cup Cranberry orange relish
These "Savory Sandwiches" are from the September, 1974 issue.
Butter both sides of bread. Combine peanut butter and crushed pineapple;
spread evenly on 6 slices of bread. Top peanut butter mixture with
cranberry orange relish. Close sandwiches with remaining bread slices.
Grill on both sides until golden brown. Cut in half and serve hot. Garnish
with celery sticks and carrot curls. Makes 6 sandwiches. Posted to EATL
