Recipe - Peanut Butter Rolls

1 Cake compressed yeast
One fourth cup Lukewarm water
1 cup Milk, scalded
One half cup Peanut butter
2 Eggs, well beaten
3 One fourth To 4 cups flour
One fourth cup Melted shortening
One fourth cup Sugar
2 teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Nutmeg
Soften yeast in water. Add milk, sugar, salt, shortening, eggs, nutmeg,
and peanut butter. Beat well. Add flour to make a dough barely stiff enough
to be kneaded. Knead until smooth on lightly floured board. Cover and let
rise until double in bulk; work down. Form into rolls. Place on welloiled
baking sheet. Cover and let rise until treble in bulk. Bake in hot oven
(450ø F) about 15 minutes. 16 rolls.
