Recipe - Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

One half cup Butter
2 tablespoon Butter
One half cup Peanut butter
2 tablespoon Peanut butter
Three fourths cup Firmly packed brown sugar
One half cup Granulated sugar
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 One half cup Allpurpose flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Salt (opt)
3 cup Oldfashioned oats, uncooked
1 pack Semisweet chocolate chips
(12 oz)
1. Heat oven to 375'F. Beat butters and sugar until fluffy. Beat in
egg and vanilla. Add combined flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
Stir in oats and chocolate chips.
2. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake
89 minutes for a chewy cookie, 1011 minutes for a crisp cookie.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet, remove to wire rack, cool, store
tightly covered.
Makes 4One half dozen cookies.
