Recipe - Peanut Butter Chocolate Crumb Cake

BATTER
One half cup Boiling water
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 cup sugar
Three fourths cup Shortening
1 One half cup Allpurpose flour
One fourth teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon (heaping) cocoa
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 Eggs
1 pack (10 oz) peanut butter chips
TOPPING
1 cup Brown sugar
1 pack (6 oz) semisweet chocolate
chips
1 cup Chopped pecans or walnuts
Add baking soda to boiling water mix and let cool. Cream shortening and
sugar. Add eggs and water to creamed mixture and beat well. Sift flour,
cocoa and salt. Fold flour mix and peanut butter chips into sugar and
shortening. Add vanilla. Pour into buttered 13x9 pan. Sprinkle the cake
batter with the blended topping mix and bake at 350* F for 4550 min.
Serves 1216.
