Recipe - Peanut Butter Cereal Treats

Nonstick corn oil cooking
spray
4 cup Crispy rice cereal
2/3 cup Light or dark corn syrup
1/3 cup Sugar
1/3 cup Reducedfat creamy or super
chunky peanut butter spread

Spray 8 or 9inch square baking pan with cooking spray. Pour cereal into
large bowl.

In 2quart microwaveable bowl, combine sugar, corn syrup and peanut butter.
Zap on high (100 percent), stirring twice, 3 One half to 4 minutes or until
mixture is smooth and sugar is dissolved.

Pour over cereal; stir to coat. Press evenly into prepared pan.

Cool about 15 minutes. Invert onto cutting board. Cut. Makes about 36 (1
1/2inch) bars.

Hint: Slip a plastic bag over your hand before pressing mixture into pan.
