3 Peaches
4 Plums; halved and pitted
One half cup Water
Grated rind of 1 lemon
Peel peaches and slice into covered saucepan. Add plums, sugar, water, and
Lemon rind; bring to a boil. Drop dumpling batter by teaspoonfuls onto
boiling fruit. cover and boil gently for 25 minutes. Do not remove cover
during cooking. Serve at once.
