Recipe - Peach Cobbler With Praline Biscuits

1 One half cup Sugar
2 tablespoon Cornstarch
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 cup Water
8 cup Sliced peaches
3 tablespoon Butter
One fourth cup Firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup Chopped pecans
2 cup Selfrising flour
2 teaspoon Sugar
One half cup Shortening
Three fourths cup Buttermilk
Combine first 4 ingredients in a Dutch oven. Add peaches. Bring to a boil
and cook 1 minute, stirring. Pour into a 13by9inch dish. Combine butter,
brown sugar and pecans. Combine flour and 2 tsp sugar; cut in shortening
until crumbly. Add buttermilk, stirring until moist. Turn dough onto
floured surface and knead 3 or 4 times. Roll dough to 12by8 inches.
Spread with pecan mixture. Starting with long side of dough, roll up. Cut
into 1/2inch slices. Arrange over peach mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for
25 to 30 minutes.
