One fourth pound Margarine (1 stick; One half cup)
1 cup Flour; selfrising
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Milk
1 cn Peaches; 29oz, cut or sliced up
Cinnamon; (optional)
Line a Dutch Oven with aluminum foil and preheat over coals.
Melt the margarine in the lined oven.
Mix the flour, sugar and milk and pour over the melted margarine. On top of
this, pour 1 large can of cut or sliced up peaches with the juice; then sprinkle with
cinnamon (if desired). Place lid on the oven and cover with hot coals. Cook
for about 1 hour.
Makes about 4 to 6 servings.
Nutritional analysis: per serving: 618 calories, 25g fat, 305mg sodium, 9mg
cholesterol, 36% of calories from fat.
