Recipe - Pasta With Garlic And Clams

2 tablespoon Olive oil
4 Cloves garlic, minced
One half cup Onions, chopped
One half cup Green peppers, choppe
One half cup Mushrooms, chopped
2 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped
2 cn (6 One half oz) minced clams
One half teaspoon Thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
1 ds Cayene pepper
Saute the onions, green peppers, and garlic in the olive oil until
translucent (add a little water and cover if necessary during this
process). Add the mushrooms and continue heating in the covered saucepan
for about 3 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients, including all the
liquid that comes with the clams, and heat until hot in a covered saucepan.
Serve with 1 cup of spaghetti or linguini and Parmesan cheese (optional).
Makes 4 servings.
Total calories 270. Add 50 calories per tablespoon of Parmesan cheese.
