Recipe - Parsnips In Maple Mustard Sauce

2 tablespoon Pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon Dijonstyle mustard
2 tablespoon Unsalted butter; cut into
bits
2 lg Parsnips; (about One half pound),
; peeled and cut into
; 3 by 1/4inch
; sticks

In a microwavesafe shallow baking dish combine the syrup, the mustard, the
butter, and salt and pepper to taste, add the parsnips, and toss them to
coat them well. Microwave the parsnips, covered partially, at high power
(100%) for 10 minutes, or until they are tender.

Serves 2.
