Recipe - Parmesan Biscuits

1 One half cup Flour
2 teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Celery seed
One half teaspoon Salt
One fourth cup Shortening
One fourth cup Cheese, parmesan
1 Egg, unbeaten
1/3 cup Milk
Cheese, parmesan
Celery seed
Sift together flour, baking powder, celery seed and salt. Cut in shortening
and parmesan cheese until particles are fine. Combine egg with milk. Add to
dry ingredients; stir until dough clings together. Knead on floured surface
10 times. Roll out to 1/2inch thickness. Cut into rounds with floured
2inch cutter; place on cookie sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 to 20
minutes until golden brown.
