Recipe - Panettone Sexy Toffee Pudding

4 ounce Butter
4 tablespoon Golden syrup
4 ounce Soft brown sugar
One half pt Milk mixed with One half pint
cream
6 sl Panettone; (Italian cake)
cut
; into strips
Crunchy toffee ice cream or
clotted cream
2 Sliced bananas
Preheat the oven to 215C.
Melt the butter, golden syrup and brown sugar in a small pan and stir. Add
the bananas and soften very slightly.
Slice the panettone and dip into the cream and milk. Put a layer into an
ovenproof dish and top with a large spoon of the banana mixture. Repeat the
process for a second layer, then pour the remaining cream and milk over the
top.
Bake for 20 minutes and serve with the ice cream or clotted cream.
