Recipe - Pams Pea Salad

Categories: None, Pams Pea Salad
Ingredients:

1 pack (10 oz) frozen green peas,
thawed (use microwave)
One fourth cup Chopped onion
One half cup Chopped green pepper
One half cup Chopped celery
2 cn (6 oz) cut or sliced up water
chestnuts (drained)
1 teaspoon Sugar
8 ounce Large curd cottage cheese
One half cup Mayonnaise
Optional:
1 cup Shredded mozarella cheese
One fourth cup Real baconbits

Combine ingredients in order listed. Mix until well blended. Cover and
refrigerate until well chilled. Serves 6.

Note: The "optional" is what I added that Pam did not include with her
original recipe. This definitely goes into my keeper file. There's just
about enough for hubby to take in his lunch tomorrow. He ate the majority
of what was there....and raved about it.

You know, I think this would be good with a couple of fresh tomato wedges
added as well.
