Recipe - Oyster Rarebit

1 pound Cheddar cheese
1 cup Oysters
1 cup Ale
1 tablespoon Butter
One half teaspoon Dry mustard
One half teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Worcestershire
1 tablespoon Minced onion
1 Chopped green pepper
paprika and pepper to
taste

Melt the butter and cheese in a double boiler, stirring well. Add the
onion, pepper, Worcestershire, ale, mustard and seasonings, and finally the
oysters. Stir until the mixture is smooth and thick. From the files of Al
