Recipe - Overnight Five-Grain Cereal

1 tablespoon Uncooked wheat berries
1 tablespoon Uncooked rye berries
1 tablespoon Uncooked pearl barley
1 tablespoon Uncooked millet
1 tablespoon Uncooked oldfashioned
rolled oats
1 One half cup Apple juice or water
2 tablespoon Oat bran; optional
2 tablespoon Raisins
Grind wheat berries, rye berries, barley, millet and oats in grain mill or
blender on high speed 30 seconds.
Place mixture in heavybottomed pan along with apple juice, oat bran and
raisins. Bring to boil over mediumhigh heat and simmer 10 minutes. Remove
from heat. Cover pan and let stand overnight. Next norning, reheat over
medium heat and serve. Makes 2 servings.
