Recipe - Oriental Casserole

1 One half pound Hamburger or ground turkey
1 small Onion, chopped
One half cup Chopped celery
1 cn (small) cut or sliced up water
chestnuts, drained and
liquid reserved
1 cn (4 oz) cut or sliced up mushrooms,
drained and liquid reserved
2/3 cup Raw rice (measure dry)
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper
1/3 cup Soy sauce
Brown hamburger, onion, and celery in a skillet; drain off fat. Add water
chestnuts, mushrooms, rice, salt, pepper, and soy sauce sauce to hamburger
mixture. Add enough water to reserved liquids to make 2 cups. Stir into
hamburver mixture.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for about an hour. Makes 68 servings.
