Recipe - Orange Raisin Scones

1 Three fourths cup Flour
4 tablespoon Sugar
2 One half teaspoon B.powder
One half teaspoon Salt
5 tablespoon Cold butter
One half cup White raisins
6 tablespoon Cream
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla or orange extract
2 tablespoon Orange zest
Combine first 4 ingredients in work bowl of processor.Process in cold
butter on pulse till coarse meal texture forms.Add cream, egg, extract and
zest, then raisins. Remove from work bowl and gently knead. Pat into a disc
about One half inch thickness and score into 6 or 8 wedges. Brush w/addtional
egg white and sprinkle with sugar. Bake on greased baking sheet in
