Recipe - Orange Peanut Brittlealabama

Ingredients:

1 cup Sugar
1 cup Raw peanuts
1 cup Light corn syrup
2 tablespoon Flaked coconut
1 tablespoon Grated orange rind
1 teaspoon Soda

Combine sugar, peanuts, and corn syrup in a heavy Dutch oven; cook over
medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches soft crack stage
(about 290degrees). Remove from heat. Stir in coconut and ornage rind. Add
soda, and stir well. Spread mixture thinly on to 2 warm, buttered 15 x 10 x
1inch jellyroll pans (work quickly). Let cool, and break into pieces.
