Categories: Cookies, Orange Double Chocolate Chip Cookies (The Grand Marniers)
2 One fourth cup Flour
3 tablespoon Dutch cocoa
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Nuts
1 One half cup Raisins
2 cup Chocolate chips
1 cup Butter
Three fourths cup Sugar
Three fourths cup Brown sugar
2 Eggs
3 tablespoon Grand Marnier
3 teaspoon Orange extract
Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, liqueur, and extract. Blend in dry
ingredients. Stir in nuts, chips, and raisins. Bake at 375 degrees F 10
minutes or until done. Makes
67 dozen.
By the way, this recipe originally came from the net. It won a Betty
Crocker cookoff (or something) for best recipe. The recipe as given
contained 1 Three fourths cups of flour but I discovered that the cookies came out
too flat and crunchy so I upped it to 2 One fourth (the standard cookie amount)
and I've had nothing but praise for them ever since.
