2 cup Pillsbury's Best All Purpose
Flour*, sifted
1 teaspoon Doubleacting baking powder
One half teaspoon Soda
One half teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoon Butter
1 cup Sugar
1 Egg; unbeaten
Rind of 1 medium orange
Boiling water to measure 1
cup
Juice of 1 orange
1 cup Dates; cut fine
One half cup Funsten's Nuts

BAKE at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. MAKES 9 x 5inch loaf. Sift
