Recipe - Orange Apple Ice (Motts)

23 ounce Apple Sauce; *see note
1/3 cup Orange marmalade
3 Egg whites; beaten stiff
In medium bowl, combine apple sauce and marmalade; mix well. Carefully fold
in beaten egg whites.
Pour into 8 or 9inch square pan. Cover, freeze until firm.
Scoop frozen mixture into 5oz. drink cups or spoon into dessert dishes.
TIP: *To make shell or cup, use a sharp knife to make sawtoothcut around
middle of fruit, cutting to inside center only. Twist, pull apart and
remove inside portion from fruit, scraping shells clean with spoon.
Yields 12 (1/2cup) servings.
Notes: Pantry: Mott's Natural or Regular Apple Sauce. For a special
presentation, serve this low calorie ice in an orange shell or cup
garnished with an orange twist.
