Recipe - Onion Smothered Brisket

2 tablespoon Garlic powder
2 tablespoon Paprika
1 teaspoon Pepper
1 Brisket; 5 to 6 pounds
One fourth cup Vegetable oil
2 pound Onions; cut or sliced up
Mix garlic powder,paprika and pepper and rub into
brisket.Heat oil in Dutch oven and sear brisket on all
sidesRemove and set aside.Saute onions in Dutch
oven.Replace brisket and cover totally with
onions.Cover tightly and place in 275 deg.oven for 3
One half to 4 hours.
