Recipe - No-Peek Casserole

2 pound Beef stew meat cut up
16 ounce Sour cream
1 cup Red wine
1 pound Mushrooms
(you can cheat and use
Canned)
1 pack Lipton brand dry soup mix
1 cn Campbells brand mushroom
Soup
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 ds Louisiana Hot Sauce
(optional)
Salt and pepper
Mix all ingrediants, cover tightly, bake at 300 degrees for 3 hours. Don't
peek! Serve hot over noodles. (A Cajun friend who went only by his first
name which I have translated into polite language taught me this when I was
quite young. I found in later years that people outside Louisiana refer to
this dish as Beef Stroganoff...) Posted by SSpahn.
