MIX
2 teaspoon Garlic salt
1 teaspoon White pepper
1 teaspoon Black pepper
One half teaspoon Oregano
1 teaspoon Allspice
1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
2 teaspoon Thyme leaves
One fourth teaspoon Cloves
2 Bay leaves
6 Chicken bouillon cubes
One half cup Flour
GUMBO
Three fourths cup Vegetable oil
1 cup Chopped celery
1 cup Chopped onion
1 cup Chopped green pepper
1 pack Gumbo mix
10 cup Water
1 pound Polish sausage, in 1/2"
coins
1 cup Crab meat
1 cup Cooked shrimp
Cooked rice
Sauce, optional
Sherry wine, optional
File powder, optional
Mix: Combine and store in an airtight container.
New Orleans Gumbo: Saute celery, onion and green pepper in oil 35 minutes.
Add soup mix, cook 46 minutes, stirring constantly. add water and sausage,
cook 30 additional minutes at slow boil. Add crab and shrimp and heat
through. Serve over rice and pass the hot sauce, sherry
